13/03/08 The BBC reports that Carry On London is all set to commence filming. The script is now approved and pre-production work, already underway for some time, means that the film *could* be in cinemas by the end of the year.

28/08/07 Peter Rogers has been interviewed for an upcoming edition of British Film Forever.  The September 8th edition of the show (BBC2, 2115 - 2245) is entitled "Sauce, Satire & Silliness - story of the Comedy Film". The programme is follwed by a screening of Carry On Camping.

12/08/07 The Royal Mail has commissioned a set of six stamps to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Carry On and Hammer films in 2008. The set will be released next June

1/8/07 Dennis Heymer has commissioned a cider to celebrate what would of been Frankie Howerd's 90th Birthday this year. It has been crafted by The West Monkton Cider Co in Somerset, not far from Frankie's former home and now museum. The cider is called UP THE APPLES and is a traditional farm house blend 6%, launched on the 4th Aug to coinside with the Jazz in the garden event at Wavering Down,where Frankie's home will be open to the public.
