The Story
Lord Peter Flimsey and his butler, Punter, are called in to investigate when a dead body is found in the sarcophagus of King Ramitupum. The sarcophagus, which has just been delivered to The Wapping Collection, is the responsibility of Doctor, an old acquaintance of Lord Peter, and she calls him in to investigate...

Comments
This is one of three episodes (The Nine Old Cobblers and The Case of the Screaming Winkles) that are based on the Lord Peter Wimsey mysteries of the 1920's. Freeman uses every detective gem possible, from Sherlock Holmes mists to Agatha Christie tea parties, and it works quite well. The scripts of these three episodes are perhaps the ones that feel as if they are classic Carry On - or somewhere near, in 20 odd minutes, with a well crafted script that could have been moulded in to a full blown film.
