Benhams celebrated the Carry On films with this stunning pair of First Day souvenir covers. They were released in two varieties - the first commercial release can be seen here and featured all 8 stamps on a single sheet. It was accompanied by a promotional stamp of Keith Turley's superb "Carry On Forever" artwork:

A tie-in set was produced in association with The Variety Club of Great Britain, with sales of these First Day Covers helped raise funds for sick, disabled and disadvantaged children.

These 'Carry On' stamps were issued by Grenada and postmarked in the first day of issue, 9 June 1999.
